Practical Christian Spirituality I focuses on the inward journey of renewal leading to the outward expression of a life of faith in the context of common spiritual battlegrounds, self-management, and relationships.

Practical Christian Spirituality I has three foci:

Understanding ourselves generally in the context of the three basic battlegrounds of power, sex and money; the challenge to express the Lordship of Jesus Christ in these practical areas.

Understanding and managing ourselves personally in our on-going movement towards a spiritually healthy and effective, purpose-filled Christian life.

Understanding our unique spirituality in the context of relationships, and finding encouragement, support and personal growth in the context of the Christian community.

For optimum impact it is recommended that students also study Practical Christian Spirituality II.
