Introduction to the Bible

This course requires an enrolment keyThis subject will provide you with a foundational understanding of the nature of the Scriptures, of methods of interpreting the Bible and the ability to apply these principles in private study and public presentation of the Bible’s message, a foundational knowledge of the content of the Bible, and of the dominant themes of the Old and New Testaments.
You will also gain knowledge of historical and contemporary controversies about the nature and purpose of the Bible and attitudes to the Bible, and the ability identify, validate and maintain the conservative Christian view of the Scriptures.
This unit is available for classroom study, external study and E-learning.
